The idea was given to me after I played Go Karts II. I really enjoyed that track as it was speed zone through and through, the only thing I didn't like was how you got jammed in the wall because of the speed zone, and how you could make a mistake and not really get punished.
So Burnin' Rubber was made, and it's a speed zone track through and through, the only difference is, is that the track has a drop off edge, so if you turn wrong, you will fall off the speed zone track and onto the 'grass'.
