Awesome. I remember you but only really from tracks and such, I started in 2001 and I don't think you were around (much) then. Always good to see players come back though.

I really want to help with the development stage of HR. I want to see more players back old and new, and have some fun.

In regards to the source code, I have compiled it but it doesn't access the internet properly due to myh IPv6 setup I have - as a test.

I keep getting a crash on TCP/IP .net stack. I understand whats going on, I just need a ipv6 tp ipv4 wrapper top make it work.

Do we finally have a competent, willing dev? I sure hope so.

The cvs server should actually still be up, but to be honest svn is a better protocol. If we're actually going to use it this time I'll set up the backend. In the past Lars would have motivation, mess around with some code, but then the next week he would disappear.

I can't commit any time to coding myself, but I'll set up a cvs/svn server (or rectify the current configuration) if someone will actually make use of it.

Yes, you have a willing person. I can't help much in terms of time, but I will do as much as a I can.

I tried running DirectSound with a wrapper for HR and will.. I think I got surround sound working, buggy as hell when running on regular tracks.
What I need to do is see if I can add a reverb action of the tracks. I am mapping out all possibilities with either using a addon for HoverCad(source code here, no) that you can add kind of an effect and some distance sounds. Meaning, doppler effect.

I am working my ASS off, but its slow progress. I will keep testing.

No, the HoverCAD code is included with what Richard gave us. HCU is still very lacking as far as an editor goes, but if you can deal with it, lucky you.
