they are not to bad
i had to do an email confirmation for my forum because ive got so many bots now (50 users register, and i said no more than 8 are real people) _________________ ^i posted that

At least it does make your boards look really active after a while. |

They are sneaky little critters... I even had one follow through on a 4 phase signup. Somehow it blagged it's way through all 4 phases and registered an account. The image things seems to work pretty well againt it but I'm sure they'll work their way around that soon. It's good to have banned list of ip addresses shared between your scripts but there's so many of these bots out there with different ip's and you can only ban them after they've signed up.
If they can do this, what else can they do to your servers? |
